Windows 10 Method: On the unit with TOSHIBA Eco Utility or TOSHIBA Settings (Centennial App) installed: Press F10 (Save and Exit) to complete the change from the BIOS Settings.Thermal Control Alternative Mode: Enabled.
Make sure to select the following values:.Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter BIOS Power Management. Next, select Power Management on the left side in the BIOS setup.Check if BIOS V3.30 or later has been successfully applied. Restart the unit and access the BIOS by pressing F2 key.How to Enable the Thermal Control Alternative Mode from the System BIOS & within WindowsīIOS Method: On the unit without TOSHIBA Eco Utility or TOSHIBA Settings (Centennial App) installed: Please follow the changes described in the procedure section, to apply a new thermal control table and reducing CPU throttling. In addition CPU frequency reduction (throttling) will be improved. To avoid this behavior, improvements to the thermal control system has been implemented. This may result in a decrease in system performance. On occasion, fan thermal activity may increase due to high CPU utilization.
